Thank you for considering one of our handcrafted sheds. We pride ourselves on building strong, reliable sheds tailored to your needs. This guide answers the most common questions and explains everything you need to know before ordering.

What our sheds are made from

All of our sheds are built using 47x50mm framework, 12mm shiplap cladding for the sides, and 12mm tongue & groove boards for the roof, floor, and door. The roof is finished with a flat bitumen-bond felt.

What comes as standard

A 30″ wide door, a single fixed window for sheds up to 8×6, and two fixed windows for sheds larger than 8×6.

Sizes & customisation

Every shed is made to order – we can build almost to the inch. Ask our team for a free site visit if you’re unsure.

What the price includes

All quotes are itemised for transparency. The price includes VAT, primary treatment in a red cedar wax-based oil, installation, and local delivery (other areas available by arrangement).

Windows & doors

Doors and windows can be positioned almost anywhere. Glazed doors and windows are available as upgrades.

Height

Standard shed height is 6’3”. Taller sheds are available, but planning permission may be required.

Primary treatment

Each shed is treated inside and out with our red cedar, wax-based oil treatment. Safe for children, pets, and plants.

Insulation options

We can quote for paper lining or poly/TGV lining. Roofs are not lined.

Lead time

Our current lead time is 8–12 weeks.

Ongoing care

We recommend applying an oil-based treatment suitable for smooth wood once a year. Ask us for advice if unsure.

Preparation

The site must be level and firm. Gravel or natural earth bases are best for drainage. Groundworks can be quoted if agreed in advance.

Access

Let us know of any access issues – site visits can be arranged.

Electrics

We do not install electrics but can recommend a qualified electrician.

Old sheds

We are licensed waste carriers and can dispose of your old shed legally – ask for a disposal quote.

Next steps

To secure your order, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required. The balance is due on the day of installation, payable by bank transfer, cash, or card.
